Experience has taught us well
The first thing we do is get to know you. We strive (and succeed) to learn the nuances that will make journalists (and consumers) care about you, your business, and/or your product, service, or cause.
We probe and ask lots of questions. We look for anecdotes and meaningful experiences and learn everything we can to effectively pitch your story.
Once we finish asking lots of questions, we prepare the pitch. We don’t like the sound of crickets so our preparation is meticulous. Journalists respond to our pitches because our stories resonate.
Is there more than one pitch? Of course. Our objective is to create continuous, ongoing press for our clients. We accomplish this by refreshing our inquiries, reading the room, and explaining how what you’re doing (or making, or researching, or selling) relates to what is going on in the world.
This tenacious behavior is how we have secured billions of dollars of news stories for our clients.
If you want to make an impeccable pitch, you need great follow through.
